All Heros Are Bastards

In authoritarian Germany, the government has divided Cologne by building a border to isolate neighbourhoods with high immigrant populations. Frustrated, Malik takes on a risky job and steals a mysterious artefact that gives him — and Dina, a teacher who happens to be present — supernatural powers. The theft was orchestrated by Hamza, who believes in the artefact's power.

While the government, led by Interior Minister Canan, is abducting children and young people from immigrant families and brainwashing them in the secret Z:INTEGRA facility, Malik, Dina and Hamza join forces. Their goal is to rescue the children and inform the public about the government's abuses. However, their attempt to raise awareness fails, and they find themselves in a dangerous battle against Canan's heavily armed homeland security forces. Not only must the three bring down Z:INTEGRA, they must also decide how far they are willing to go to bring about change.
